Our 250+ video solutions have been created by our handpicked team of expert tutors. They have been created to express every thought process, so that you can start to think just like an expert and approach problems in the same way.
This video content and the extra practice questions we provide form the basis of the independent study that Mastermind students will do at home.
“Using the online resources, I felt there was somewhere I could turn every time I had a question!” –Charlotte
“It’s really helpful to see the best way to tackle a question and what to start with. In particular, the use of diagrams to explain problems made a lot the explanations very clear.” – Siddharth

3-day intensive STEP 2 group course
Recorded version of last year’s STEP courses:
Our intensive STEP II and STEP III courses in April are just the final two of a series of four STEP courses we run over the course of the year, each of which covers different topics. We’ve put together handy video versions of our summer and October courses with all the content so you can:
A) Catch up if you missed our earlier summer courses
B) Refresh the material closer to your test if you attended them already
Summer course content: integer problems, proof, necessary and sufficient conditions, splitting problem into cases, inequalities
October course content: polynomials, graph sketching, advanced differentiation and advanced trigonometry
“The online course went through many different kinds of questions where the tutor clearly explained how to lay out answers as well as the method behind them.” –Taher
“I learnt so much during the course and wanted to think independently about the problems at home too. The videos re-explain the content just as clearly as the tutors did live, so I really feel like I got everything out of the questions now.” –Alexander

Fortnightly STEP skills workshop following P.R.O.F. methodology, leading up to Easter course
Although a full STEP exam lasts 3 hours, it’s still very time-pressured as the questions are so long and difficult. So, getting used to doing STEP questions under timed conditions is essential to maximising your score.
For that reason, leading up to Easter, in between the fortnightly PROF workshops, we’ll be running fortnightly timed mini-mocks using full STEP questions.
You’ll submit your answers for these and receive the marks you would have got, so you can track your progress through the year and see which areas you still need to work on.
Fortnightly timed practice mini STEP mocks – with marks to track progress
Even if you’re as prepared as you can be, it’s naturally nerve-wracking going into an exam situation, especially for such a life-changing exam as STEP.
Practising in real exam conditions will help prevent the real thing from coming as a shock. And having your paper marked, receiving accurate feedback, and tracking your progress will give you an excellent indication as to what you need to work on.
So, as a bonus to this programme, we are offering two mocks in full exam conditions.
These will be marked, with written feedback from our expert STEP tutors, who have extensive experience in helping students to meet their STEP offers.
An opportunity simply not to be missed.
PLUS: FAST ACTION BONUS (FIRST 10 STUDENTS): Do 2x full STEP papers in timed, invigilated exam conditions and get full marking with feedback for improvement

Sign up to one of our packages to begin your STEP Mastermind programme as soon as possible – don’t delay!
Not at all, the STEP courses that will be taking place in Easter are brand new courses covering completely different questions and topics, but build on the previous STEP courses you will have attended.
If you didn’t attend our previous STEP courses (as part of our STEP Year 12 Mastermind), we include the videos in these programmes so that you can catch up!
Everything we do here at the Oxbridge Formula is highly interactive, so you will get a much better experience if you can attend live. Therefore, we recommend you plan around the dates of the intensive courses. Nonetheless, if you absolutely cannot attend, we will be able to give you access to the recordings after each course has taken place. If practical, we also intend to record parts of the skills workshops. Please note that we are not able to share a recording of the interview group course.
When you apply, you will complete a baseline academic assessment and discuss with us your motivations for applying to Cambridge to allow us to determine if you are a good fit for the Mastermind. We only work with highly motivated and determined students as our programme requires a good deal of independent study on top of the classes and courses on offer. Our most successful students spend several hours each week on independent study, forming the strong academic foundation needed to achieve a STEP offer. This level of commitment is required of all students.
We are sure that no other organisation offers such a comprehensive and rigorous package of online and group courses specifically for Maths and Physics admissions tests and interview preparation. In the unlikely event that you do find an identical package at a lower price, carried out by tutors with comparable credentials, we guarantee to match the price.
We guarantee the quality of our tutors. All of our tutors are either Oxbridge-educated or hold a PhD from a Russell Group University in a relevant subject. Our tutors go through an intense selection process before they qualify to work with us, and even after that they undergo further training to shape them into the best teachers possible.
There is a 14-day money-back guarantee available to students who attend the first two weekly Q&A sessions and send us their notes and marked questions to prove that they have used the online resources. If you have done both of these and you still don’t feel that the programme will benefit you on your journey to Oxbridge, just let us know and we would be happy to refund you your full payment. Please note that, if you have had some 1-1 tuition sessions with us, these will still be payable.
